The Jamboree celebrates the Day of Andalusia with the show ‘Por el acento’, featuring the Andalusian people, their roots and the deepest expression of the particular features of the region’s eight provinces. ‘Por el acento’ is inspired by Manuel Machado’s ‘Canto a Andalucía’ – “Cadiz, salt clarity. Granada, / hidden water that cries. / Roman and Moorish, Cordoba, silent. / Málaga, singing. / Almería, golden. / Silver, Jaén. Huelva, the shore / of the three caravels. / Y Seville” – and conveys the unique features of each territory through flamenco: from the fandangos of Huelva to the alegrias of Cadiz.
