ANA BRENES presenta CAMINO – POSTPONED

From the organization of the festival we are forced to postpone the concert of Ana Brenes scheduled for Friday, August 20 in the Tarantos room for personal reasons of the artist.

We will inform you of the new date of the concert as soon as possible, it is currently scheduled for 2022.

A follower of Chiqui de la Línea and Rafael Cañizares, among others, by the age of three Ana Brenes was already singing bulerías. Based on passion, perseverance, effort and, above all, overcoming adversities as a person of humble origin, Brenes has won prestige and has performed at big tablaos and events in Barcelona. Her career is already a remarkable one, but now she has launched “Camino”, which she describes as a “musical monologue” or “a metaphysical stroll through the artist’s imagination told through the flamenco palos”. Brenes presents a monographic show featuring her own compositions, tinged with sensitivity, feminism, poetry and social criticism. She is accompanied by the tocaor Toni Abellán, with whom she forms a first-class artistic partnership.
