A company consisting of well-known singers, guitarists and dancers present ‘Arte y pureza’, a show that champions the deepest roots of flamenco. Eugenio Santiago, El Bacaillo, Rebeca Monasterio and Costi ‘El Chato’– great names from the Catalan scene – review the different styles of flamenco. Never turning their back on its essence, they also incorporate the modern touch with which Paco de Lucía and Camarón de la Isla revolutionised flamenco. Finally, they go without microphones to bring the art of flamenco and its artists closer to their audience. It’s as if we were at one of those spontaneous parties where flamenco people come together and find inspiration in the magic of the moment.
