A winner of the Carmen Amaya Award and finalist in the choreography competitions in Madrid (2005) and the National Flamenco Art competition in Cordoba (2010), David Romero is one of the great modern flamenco bailaors. A follower of Eva Yerbabuena and Antonio Canales, he trained in the top tablaos in Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, London and Tokyo and has worked in Antonio Canales’, JoaquÃn Cortés’ and Rafael Amargo’s companies, among others. Romero identifies with the new trends in Spanish dance and flamenco, with his own style somewhere between sensuality, sensitivity and even ambiguity. For her part, Yolanda Cortés has danced at the Tablao de Carmen and El Cordobés (Barcelona), and at Casa Patas, Las Carboneras and Café de Chinitas (Madrid). She has also worked with Antonio Canales in various performances. Flamenco Forever brings Romero and Cortés in a show with impeccable style, harmonised with the singing of Miguel de la Tolea and playing of Tati Amaya.
