FLAMENCO FOREVER
David Romer, Eli Ayala and Pilar Rodríguez face the task of summoning the purity of flamenco music and making it last forever in the souls of the audience of Los Tarantos Flamenco.
Ayala has distinguished himself in a variety of flamenco shows across some of the biggest theaters and tablaos in Spain. In 2014 he participated in Festival Grec with the play called “Romance de Curro El Palmo. El devenir de los charnegos…” in which he served as both choreographer and soloist. As for Romero, he was the winner of the Prize of Honor “Carmen Amaya” and he’s been mentored by such notable dancers as Eva Yerbabuena and Antonio Canales. Rodríguez, on the other hand, started her professional career at the tender age of 14 and has performed all over Europe, Latin America and Asia. For the Tarantos it is a pleasure to have her back in our tablao since it was here that she made her debut as a soloist twenty years ago.
These three dancers will come together for “Flamenco Forever”, a show that seeks to transmit the passion of flamenco in every step and every twist to the rhythm of the music which will be handled by a first rate ensemble that features singers Miriam Vallejo y Miguel ‘de la Tolea’, and guitarist Eduardo Cortés.
Without a doubt, this show will make you leave Los Tarantos Flamenco Barcelona with a flamenco taste that will endure in your mouth for days and memories that will remain with you forever.
