The word ‘larachí’ means ‘night’ in Caló, the native language of the Gypsies of the Iberian Peninsula and southern France. Larachí is also the title of this show based on the famous gatherings of the Gypsy people. By candlelight, the Gypsies of old would gather to sing and dance all night long. The memory of that vanished tradition is also a call to the purest, most beautiful, and most authentic sentiment of flamenco, as the company presenting this show firmly believes. Leading the group is Francesc Amador, a dancer from a Gypsy family in Sabadell. Since a young age, Amador has been passionate about flamenco dancing. He has been a disciple of notable figures such as Farruquito, Juan de Juan, Torombo, Costi el Chato, and la Tani. He has also toured the tablaos of Barcelona and performed at renowned festivals.
