The music of PorMedio connects with the two shores of the Mediterranean. Not in vain, PorMedio cultivates an original, fresh sound, which drinks both from the sources of the flamenco essence and from the Arab and Jewish cultures; and jazz and improvisation. In this sense, Ofer Ronen’s virtuoso touch to the flamenco guitar and lute stands out, and the soul he puts into each of the notes he plays. The quartet offers a powerful live performance, which moves and excites very diverse audiences. PorMedio is a proposal conceived from the endless search for a new sound that unites all the peoples of the Mediterranean.
